How we write and check content
- Code descriptions come from the official London Councils and PATROL contravention code lists.
- Amounts, deadlines and grounds come from legislation (legislation.gov.uk), Department for Transport statutory guidance, London Councils, GOV.UK and the two tribunals. Each page lists the sources it relies on.
- Where we're not certain, we say so and point you to the official source.
- Content was last reviewed on 21 October 2026.
